We are excited to invite you to an update webinar on Friday, September 27th, where we will discuss this school year’s progress and the next steps for the Esports Pilot Program. Due to several state-level changes, adjustments will have to be made to the initial plan, and we want to ensure you are fully informed on how these impact the Esports courses.

Trying to get some stuff in order for this year and hitting a raodblock on this unit. What are people planning on doing for this unit? Would love some ideas for assignments or activities.

Esport Ecosystem

(4) The student analyzes the competitive ecosystems of Esports. The student is expected to:

1. Compare the different levels of Esports competition such as professional, semi-pro, and collegiate;

2. Identify different competitive opportunities within Esports;

3. Differentiate between the genres of competitive games; and

4. Identify the different types of competitions such as round robin and tournament play.

• There many different types of competition and level of play within the Esports ecosystem that are welcoming to all type of gaming(er)
